Uniquely Labeled Valentine's Day Cards

There's a certain time of year that some people anticipate with dread, while others look forward to it as a wonderful social opportunity. Get ready for a busy couple of weeks! Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, you'll need to grab some address labels for all those cards you'll be sending out.

Before That Day rolls around, most of us end up spending a lot of time on our holiday card lists -- and no, we're not talking about the politics of who to send to or not to send to, based on who sent you cards last year. We're talking about the act of actually preparing and sending the cards themselves, which, frankly, can be a huge pain in the neck. But there's no reason it has to be that way. Why not sit down with the whole family, and use this as an opportunity to have a little fun?

Enjoy some Valentine's Day cookies and slap those pretty address labels on your cards, crumbs and all. You've gotta do it anyway -- you might as well make sure you enjoy it. This is the perfect time to practice your stamping and scrapbooking efforts. This isn't something you'll have to drag your kids into -- most kids love making imaginative little presents like personalized Valentines. You'll surely make the day of anyone who receives these in their mail!

Oh, and you don't have to limit this activity to the Big V; it's suitable for any carding occasion. You can get nifty address rubber stamps and similar supplies very inexpensively and quickly just by purchasing them online. So why not order right now? If you do, they'll be in your hands in about a week! You'll find that the variety of designs, formats, and colors is simple amazing. All it takes is a few clicks, so why not get started now?

Lets walk the South Downs Way

This walk passes through or close to many historic and typically English towns and villages as it wends its way from the Saxon capital of Winchester to the famous white cliffs near Eastbourne.
It can take several days to walk the South Downs but it can be very rewarding. Local tourist authorities have many lists of B&Bs along or close to the route.
The South Downs Way begins at Winchester, a Cathedral city which is also known as the Saxon capital of England.

Within about ten miles of parts of the South Downs Way is Portsmouth the historic home of the Royal Navy. On a visit here you should include the narrow streets and ramparts of the old city and port as well as a climb to the top of the town's stunning millennium project, the 170-meter-tall Spinnaker Tower. Portsmouth started as a Saxon fishing port, to its role as the home of one of the world's greatest seaborne fighting forces.

The historic Cathedral City of Chichester is also a great place to take a break from the journey. But if you want to do some walking, you could go round the old town on the Medieval Walls. It takes almost an hour to stroll the one and a half miles. The walls are built on Roman foundations going back to the 3rd century. In the middle of it the 1000 year old Chichester Cathedral is a definately worth a visit. After visiting the Cathedral, maybe you could stop at one of the local pubs, the Old Cross is a definate favourite.
Chichester is also home to the Chichester Festival Theatre and to Goodwood where depending on upon the time of year you can experience either thoroughbred racing, motor circuits and golf. Some say that Goodwood  is one of the prettiest racetracks in the world.
Then we come to Bosham, this is one of the prettiest reaches of the lovely Chichester Harbour.
Amberley lies besides the River Arun's water meadows and Arundel, on a hill above it, are classic English castle towns on the South Downs Way.
A visit to Arundel is a must. There are some quaint holiday cottages in the town which are available to rent, or maybe just book one for a weekend break. It boasts the beautiful 1,000-year-old, Norman Arundel Castle, still home to the Duke of Norfolk, and its amazing 19th century Cathedral -- the view of them from the distance, is like something out of a fairy tale book.
You can actually stay in a castle in Amberley, a tiny, mainly 16th century hamlet with picturesque thatched cottages.Amberley Museum an abandoned chalk quarry tells the local history of the industrial revolution.
Arundel has many restaurants or try the wonderfully eccentric Black Horse Pub in Amberley, one of its best traditional village pubs.
Brighton has been made a fashionable place in the early 19th century by the Prince Regent (later George IV). The palace of the Prince Regent, the Royal Pavilion, is one of Britain's most flamboyant and exotic landmark.
Brighton is one of the liveliest british seaside resorts, made famous since the Prince Regent made it fashionable in the early 19th century.
We end our journey at Eastbourne.

This must truly be one of the most sedate of England's South Coast seaside resorts. It is renowned for its lovely stretch of beaches, these include a few of the only sandy beaches along the south coast.
If you continue to walk the South Downs Way as far as the Eastbourne loop, you will see the magnificent Seven Sisters and Beachy Head itself, a really dramatic and rugged chalk cliff and a really amazing place to end this picturesque journey.

How Can I Download Wii Games For Free?

The recent outbreak of Wii gaming consoles has definitely got your head stucked to the latest Wii games. To satisfy this Wii "need", many Wii gamers have been asking if we can download Wii games from the internet, for free. I'm a Gabriel Fox, a professional gamer myself and I'd tell you that's exactly what I do to feed my Wii addiction - I download Wii games online.

"But I'm finding for sites that I can download Wii games for free!" You say? Yeah, no doubt about that, I agreed, I mean who doesn't like free stuff? However, keep in mind one thing, it's good to have free stuff, but they all come with a risk, and that totally depends on whether can you afford to risk your PC to the viruses and trojans, or not.

I've been downloading Wii games all these time, for totally free, in a sense. What I'm saying here is that I've signed up as a member to a Wii games download site for just a cheap one time fee. This is an absoluately smart way to go about because for such a low price I'd get to unlimitedly download Wii games onto my personal computer and then transfering them to my Wii console.

If you're a complete newbie about downloading and burning Wii games, I'd suggest you subscribing to a Wii games download site that includes a full-scale walkthroughs, perferably step-by-step video walkthroughs to help you easily download Wii games for free. Make sure these sites charge only a one-time payment, and that they normally have got many other medias like movies, musics, TV shows included in the package.

It's totally not hard to find such Wii games download sites if you do your research carefully. However, if you're looking for ways to find out which is a better Nintendo Wii download site to look for, that doesn't have any viruses or trojans, it's going to be a tough work to do. Make a Valentine's Gift Basket to Show You Care

For lovers, Valentine's Day is an important occasion. Most people choose to express their love on this day with a special gift. If you want to make a big impression on your loved one, you should make a Valentine gift basket. You can fill it with special treats and presents to show your love and caring. It's much more personal than the usual roses and chocolates.

However, these items can still be the basis of a thoughtful gift basket. Beautiful flowers and rich chocolates are always a good idea for a Valentine's Day basket. Find some truly excellent chocolate and place it in an attractive basket. Add a cute and cuddly stuffed toy, and lay a single red rose on top. Wrap it in cellophane, tie it with a red ribbon and decorate with some heart decorations. Simple perfection.

Beyond this, there's no shortage of ideas for making a Valentine's Day basket if you really want to make an impression. Consider a basket loaded up with spa bath products. You can add a heart shaped candle, the latest bestseller and a bottle of wine for a luxurious bath basket. Other more expensive items that can be presented in a gift basket are heart shaped jewelry, cologne or perfume.

If you're planning a gift basket for a man, it's not really that much different. Arrange some designer grooming products such as deodorant, cologne and aftershave in an elegant basket. Try filling a basket with some candy that he loves, and top it off with a trendy watch. And you're almost guaranteed of pleasing if you stuff a basket full of his favorite snacks and wedge in a couple bottles of that specialty beer he likes.

A really innovative idea is to make up a Valentine's Day "dinner in a basket". Don't got out to a crowded restaurant; stay home and savor an intimate dinner in private. You'll need to use something the size of picnic basket. Fill it up with the ingredients for a special meal. Add a candle, a bottle of wine, and a rich dessert. It's only right that you offer to cook, but it will be so much more special if you prepare the meal together.

Don't forget to attach a card to your gift basket. Make a homemade card with a personal message, if you can. If not, spend some time to find the most meaningful card you can and add a personal message.

You can really put your creativity into making a personalized Valentine gift basket. And there's nothing wrong with using the Valentine's Day staples like chocolate in your basket. You'll have impressed your special person with your thoughtfulness and the trouble you went to.

Air Southwest offer free parking at Newquay Airport

The owners of the Newquay Airport are helping customers beat the credit crunch this January by offering free parking to flyers.

The airport has teamed up with Air Southwest, who fly worldwide to 8 destinations all year round. The combined forces have created the offer of free parking until January 31st.

You may wonder why it's such a great thing to get free parking, if you can afford to get away on holiday during this time, then you can stretch to the price of the parking, however, for anyone that uses the airport frequently, especially for business or visiting relatives, and parks their car, they will know that this will be a great saving. Even if your're going on holiday, 5 days of free parking will save you around £30, which is always a great saving.

The parking offer is open to anyone that has already booked their flight or planning to booking a flight for before January 31st.

The head of commercial development at Newquay Airport, Karen Medweth, has said that the whole process will be simple to undertake. When you check in, you will be given a voucher to claim your free parking.

This sounds like a great idea by Air Southwest and the Newquay Airport, but will it be spreading to others? I would very much doubt it at places like Stansted, Gatwick or Heathrow, but maybe at smaller airports. However, whether it comes to other airports or not, it's always good to see other companies helping poeple save money.

Ryanair claim against Plane Stupid protesters

22 protesters charged after they caused Stansted Airport to close on the morning of December 8th, have now been sentenced.

The group appeared at the Harlow Magistrate's Court and all pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated tresspassing.

Overall, eighteen were ordered to do between 90 and 50 hours of community service, another two were ordered to pay fines of £130 and £160, another one was given a referral order and the final one was given a conditional discharge.

The sentences came after the protesters broke into the airport, causing over £3000 worth of damage in the process, and then chaining themselves to fences, causing the airport to close for 5 hours. During that closedown, 57 Ryanair flights were cancelled, leaving 7000 people without a flight, and a further 52,000 passengers delayed.

However, due to all the delays and cancels, Ryanair is claiming £2.2 million in compensation for loss of revenue.

The protest was organised by the Stupid Plane group who planned the protest in an attempt to highlight the effect of aviation on the environment.

One protester who was sentenced at Harlow Magistrates' Court, Joe Ryle, a sixth-form student, said: "It's pretty scary what's happening now. Most of us haven't got any money and a fair few of us are at school and the ones at university already have big debts."

"It seems if Ryanair follows this through and wins, we'll be paying money to Michael O'Leary for decades, and all because we think our parent's generation failed us so we decided to actually do something about climate change."

In my opinion, good for Ryanair, for a company that is always lowering prices for it's customers, why should they have to lose out if a group of protesters, which sound like a bunch of College and University kids can't understand the consequences of breaking the law, Ryanair should explore every avenue open to them so that they can claim their money back.

Overall, the police charged 49 protesters with tresspassing and released 7 on bail. Eight of the 49 were in court last month and another 24 are due in court later this month.

TOURING CARAVAN INSURANCE

TOURING CARAVAN INSURANCE

Touring caravan insurance is like a safety net for any mishap that might occur when out on a touring caravan. Though it is not a compulsory requirement for a caravan holiday, it comes in very handy in case of accidents, if the caravan is stolen, if any of our personal things are stolen, fire accidents, floods or just an sort of damage made to the caravan. At such situations, the touring caravan insurance would cover most of the costs incurred, leaving you with not having to pay up everything from your wallet.

Touring caravan insurance is not necessarily very expensive. If you can get a specialist caravan insurance broker to fix up a desired quote to pay each month, it becomes very much an affordable expense. You must make sure that the touring caravan insurance is compared with other covers that offer the same rates, only then will you get a clear idea as to which one is the better. Certain insurance companies provide an exclusive offers like a market valued cover. This means that insurance agency would pay for damages relating to the present market value of the touring caravan.

Another thing that one should look out for while going for touring caravan insurance is that the insurance agency should cover not only the cost of the caravan but must also include the cost of any accessories with it. The best way to reduce the amount you pay is to pay a larger amount in excess. The in-excess sum is what you pay towards the insurance claim.

The touring caravan insurance schemes depend upon the level of security your caravan contains. This can be achieved by making pay-outs for additional security features like door and window alarms, steering locks, tracking devices etc. also, a safe way of ensuring security in your touring caravan is a stability-system used to tow the caravan as and when necessary.

CARAVAN HISTORY

CARAVAN HISTORY

Caravan is also called the travel trailer; it is a trailer that tows behind a vehicle, hence the name. This is comfortable because you can travel around to several places with out having to worry about a motel when there is none available. Touring Caravans generally consist of all the necessary equipments. It houses furniture, house hold devices and also contains several rooms. Touring Caravans are generally used in Europe and North America. The origin of these touring caravans can be traced back to gypsies and showmen who kept wandering from place to place; the caravans were usually driven by horses. The first leisure trailer was built in the year 1880 by Bristol Carriage Company for Dr W Gordon-stables. The doctor named it “Wanderer”; its design was inspired by the Bible Wagons.

There are different types of touring Caravans; it ranges from small two berth caravans to large, triple axle, six berth types of trailers. The National Caravan Council states that the industry includes touring caravans, motorhomes, mobile caravans and static caravans. There has been wide acceptance of the caravanning system; this is seen through improvements in the caravan site facilities and caravan qualities, making caravan holidays possible at all times. Camping expert Alan Rogers was the one who initiated improvements in caravan camping. The Association of chief police officers in UK say that there are 1600 touring caravans sold each year; such is the popularity of the holidaying in Caravans.  Crisis registration service in UK has also helped in tracking thefts.

In the olden days the touring Caravans were called the gypsy wagons. Their description goes this way – the average size of the wagon was 10ft, 6ft wide. In the touring caravan those days a stove was found usually towards the left hand side of the entrance. The caravan is fitted with cupboards and draws set between sitting space. Spacious cupboard are present underneath the bed.
