As the year shades toward winter, we're rapidly approaching that time of year that some people anticipate with dread -- and others look forward to as a wonderful social opportunity. It's the Holiday Season (gasp!). It's about time to stock up on your Christmas cards and on your holiday-themed address labels once again.
When That Season rolls around, most of us end up spending a lot of time on our holiday card lists -- and no, we're not talking about the politics of who to send to or not to send to, based on who sent you cards last year. We're talking about the act of actually preparing and sending the cards themselves, which, frankly, can be a huge pain in the neck. But it doesn't have to be. Why not make a virtue of a necessity, and get the whole family involved in the process?
Have some cookies (who cares about that diet?) and start peeling and sticking your winter address labels on that stack of addressed cards. Have a good time doing it. You've got a God-given right to personalize your cards with pen, pretty inks, and rubber stamps. This is a great family-fun project that everyone can take part in -- and the little ones will love it. You'll surely make the day of anyone who receives these in their mail!
And why make this a once-a-year activity? There are lots of other events you can extend it to. You can get address rubber stamps or any labels, really, suitable for birthdays, Valentine's Day, Halloween -- you name it. Heck, they probably even make them for Columbus Day. Order them right away, and they'll be in your hot little hands by next week! And don't worry about scarcity, when it comes to formats, designs, colors, and even label materials -- the selection is so immense that your real problem will be narrowing down the choices.
